Outside Golf Services Attendant
Golf course in Tampa, Florida is looking for an Outside Golf Services Attendant.

Position Overview:
Assists everyone associated with the Outside Golf Operation as well as the Professional Staff in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member and guest service with a focus on total customer satisfaction. This position is designed to provide the necessary exposure, experience, and preparation for this individual to pursue future growth and development within the golf industry. It also includes the ability to caddie outside normal work hours to earn additional income.

Duties:
• Head golf professional.
• Shop staff.
• Outside services.
• Caddie master.
• Facilities maintenance.
• Golf course maintenance.

Daily Duties:
• Assist with and complete all opening and closing procedures as outlined by management staff.
• Assist fellow teammates to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service.
• Greet all members and guests by name and in a professional manner.
• Assist with golf cart fleet management to include proper cleaning, charging and maintenance practices.
• Store golf bags in the correct bag stall in the bag room.
• Load golf bags into staging area for daily play or tournaments.
• Stage golf carts in the golf staging area in an organized manner.
• Greet members and guests at the bag drop as well as provide a friendly farewell to departing golfers.
• Assist members and guests with cottage room check-ins.
• At bag drop, retrieve bags from arriving cars and stage golf clubs properly.
• Valet vehicles as needed.
• Assist starters and rangers with on course assistance as requested.
• Set up, manage, and breakdown the practice areas (warm-up range, short game area, & learning center range) as detailed in the SOP manual.
• Greet members and guests as they return to the cart staging area after golf along with cleaning of clubs.
• Manage the main gate with allowing members and guests through.
• Hand off the gate phone to the night porter upon completion of a closing shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Relay important information to management staff including member/guest issues, work equipment not functioning properly, or staff misconduct.
• Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity.
• Study the tournament/event calendar to be able to communicate details with members/guests.
• Take ownership of your work.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.

Requirements:
PGA member or apprentice preferred.
Minimum of one year experience at a private golf club or high-end resort facility.
Minimum education of high school diploma.
Valid state-issued driver’s license.
Meet all federal and state employment eligibility guidelines.
Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 30 pounds.

Compensation:
$15.00 – $16.00 per hour.
