Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Pauma Valley, California is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Assist in the day-to-day golf operations, including member services, assisting with player check-ins, answering phones, booking tee times, opening & closing the golf shop. This individual will play a key role in promoting the game, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive club atmosphere.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage the registration counter and provide full-service check-ins for members and guests.
• Communicate regularly with the starter and cart attendants to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Inform members and guests of current course and weather conditions.
• Prepare the golf shop for the next day’s business, ensuring it is clean, stocked, and organized.
• Open and close the POS system, ensuring accurate sales and record-keeping.
• Assist with merchandising, including stocking, displaying, and monthly inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional retail environment in the golf shop.
• Answer phones, book tee times, and check in players with outstanding service.
• Process checks and schedule reciprocal tee times.
• Help supervise outside staff alongside the professionals on duty.

Requirements:
PGA Associate or willingness to work toward PGA certification preferred.
Previous experience in a private club or high-end golf facility preferred.
Golf playing ability and passion for the game.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of golf equipment, etiquette, and general knowledge of the game of golf.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
