Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Smyrna, Delaware is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
When acting as an “Inside” staff member:
• Perform clerk or cashier duties.
• Process customer reservations for golf course guests.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as directed.
• Collect green and cart fees and process payments in the POS system.
• Help maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Reconcile cash and accounts receivable charges at the end of the day.
• Secure property and amenities daily.
• Assist with set-up of golf equipment and carts.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the general manager..

When acting as an Outside Staff Member:
• Perform starter or ranger duties.
• Welcome and greet guests and players warmly.
• Explain rules and course etiquette to all groups when needed.
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet and organize storage areas.
• Help set up and organize golf carts and equipment for tee time starts or outings.
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play to avoid delays.
• Answer questions in a friendly manner and record tee times and cart numbers as needed.
• Ensure each group has four players when possible.
• Pick up and clean practice balls on schedule.
• Secure property and amenities daily.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the general manager.

Requirements:
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be coachable and have basic computer skills.
Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.
