Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Huntsville, Alabama is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Participate in all aspects of golf course maintenance operations.
• Emphasize clear and consistent communication throughout daily tasks.
• Demonstrate the willingness and ability to train, learn, and execute all maintenance responsibilities.
• Assist in planning and executing a range of projects and large-scale upgrades.
• Collaborate daily with fellow assistants and the superintendent to schedule and execute tasks.
• Lead and support tournament set-up and event planning.
• Learn and apply proper hand-watering techniques essential for course success.
• Understand the standards required to maintain a high-quality golf course daily.
• Support reel and equipment maintenance in coordination with the Equipment Manager and mechanics.

Requirements:
2 or 4 year degree required.
Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
1 to 3 years of golf course maintenance experience preferred.
Desire to learn is more important.
The desire to learn; you will have the ability to be put in every situation a Golf Course Superintendent will be and you will be properly trained in order to become a well-rounded Superintendent in the future.

Compensation:
$58,000 – $70,000 per year.
Lunch provided Tuesday through Sunday.
Uniforms supplied.
National and local association dues and conference participation included.
