Head Golf Coach
College in Hamburg, New York is looking for a Head Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Directs all aspects of the Men’s and Women’s Golf program, including operations and recruitment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop, and implement all activities related to the Men’s and Women’s Golf program, including practices, competitions, budget oversight, equipment management, athlete recruitment, opponent scouting, and program development.
• Abide by NCAA and AMCC rules and regulations.
• Assist in monitoring academic progress of student-athletes.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes to field teams that meet or exceed NCAA minimum competition standards.
• Oversee game/match coaching and practice sessions, in collaboration with assistant coaches.
• Conduct team tryouts and coordinate regular practice schedules.
• Evaluate team and individual athlete performance.
• Provide input on scheduling and monitor team budgets.
• Maintain and track inventory of uniforms and equipment; project future supply needs.
• Confirm team statistics and contribute to the conference’s pre- and post-season awards process.
• Attend applicable conference meetings, clinics, and workshops.

Requirements:
8-10 matches per year between Fall and Spring seasons.
Serve as coordinator and host for the Hilbert fall/spring tournament.
Flexibility: ability to work evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of NCAA and AMCC rules and regulations.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Internet).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as being able to supervise others.
Able to lift and carry heavy items (up to approximately 25 lbs.).
Strong organizational skills.
Playing and coaching experience, preferably at the college level.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a campus vehicle.

Compensation:
$7,500 per season.
