Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Victoria, Texas is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the position oversees the staff and operations related to golf course merchandise and concession sales, membership, and events.

Duties:
• Generates daily bank and sales reports through POS; prepares daily cash and check deposits; records deposits; obtains daily credit card funding report, scans deposit slip, and completes Daily Cash Report (DCR) worksheet; reviews reports for accuracy and submits to the Finance department.
• Create and place orders for food, beverages and shop merchandise based on current need, upcoming events, and season; adds items into POS inventory to reflect purchases and cost of good; performs end of month inventory.
• Monitors budgets to ensure purchases fall in budget allowances or submit transfers as needed; participates in annual budget preparation, explanation, and presentation.
• Oversees the training for new employees and additional training for current employees as needed; prepares work schedules; reviews, approves, and enters timesheets for payroll; monitors Food Handler’s and other required certifications for staff.
• Creates and distributes monthly newsletters related to golf course events; maintains, and updates social media pages and website; responds to various correspondences and questions via email, phone, and social media pages.
• Responds to questions and provides general assistance regarding golf course memberships; maintains current waiting list and inception of new members as space becomes available; reviews member information and updates profiles for those entering or leaving the program; processes monthly reoccurring charges and prepares receipt of payment; follows up with non-payment notifications
• Attends and participates in various meetings as required.
• Performs related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field required. Four (4) years of progressively responsible golf course operations and management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A valid State driver’s license may be required.
Must possess a PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Class A certification.
Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) TABC certification preffered OR must obtain within two (2) weeks of hire.
Must possess a Food Handler’s certificate or obtain certificate within two (2) weeks of hire.

Compensation:
$60,245.00 – $73,024.00 per year.
