Head Golf Coach
School in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is looking for a Head Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Responsible for the overall coordination, development, and supervision of the boys’ and girls’ golf teams, fostering a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth consistent with the mission of a Catholic school.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the high school golf program, including practices, meets, conditioning, and athlete development.
• Promote and model Christian values, positive sportsmanship, and respectful behavior on and off the field.
• Provide spiritual leadership by integrating Catholic values into team activities and fostering character development.
• Instruct athletes in proper techniques, strategies, and safety procedures in all golf events and competitions.
• Develop and manage a coaching staff that reflects the values and goals of the program.
• Collaborate with the athletic director regarding scheduling, budgeting, equipment needs, and compliance with league and school policies.
• Maintain communication with student-athletes, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Ensure academic eligibility and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.
• Organize team transportation, meet entries, and practice schedules.
• Comply with all relevant regulations from the school, league, and state athletic associations (e.g., CIF, MIAA).
• Encourage student participation and assist with recruitment at the middle school level, if applicable.

Requirements:
Practicing Catholic preferred; commitment to upholding Catholic teachings and traditions required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level required; head coaching experience preferred.
Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor to student-athletes.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
CPR, First Aid, and NFHS Coaching Certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Background check and Safe Environment training required.
