Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Course in Naples, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
An entry-level management position for individuals pursuing a career in golf course maintenance and turfgrass management. This role provides hands-on experience and structured development under the guidance of the Director of Agronomy. The AIT position will serve a crucial role in the Golf Course Maintenance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in daily golf course maintenance, including mowing, fertilizing, irrigation, and pesticide applications.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff in best practices and safety procedures.
• Help coordinate daily job assignments and monitor crew performance.
• Learn and assist with irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Support special projects, renovations, and course improvements.
• Ensure course conditioning meets club and member expectations.
• Follow and promote all safety and environmental guidelines.

Requirements:
Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field (or currently pursuing).
Prior golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the organization.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Florida Pesticide Applicator’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:
$25 per hour.
