Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in McMinnville, Tennessee is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Expectations for this position are high. You will be required to perform all duties on the course to include crew management, chemical and fertilizer applications, along with irrigation scheduling and repair. You will report directly to the Superintendent, and be able to serve in that capacity in his absence. You will need the ability to prepare clear and concise reports along with overseeing safety protocols and the standards. You will need to have a current Tennessee pesticide license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days. In return you will be mentored to become a successful golf course superintendent as your career progresses, to include continuing education along with an emphasis in networking. This is a unique situation to learn about golf course construction and grow-in, facility development, and a unique skill set that isn’t often afforded.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year degree in turf-related field or certification with an acceptable amount of experience.
Minimum of 2 years in golf course maintenance with supervisory experience preferred. Construction and grow-in experience is a plus.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $65,000 per year.
