Golf Shop Assistant
Golf course in Norwalk, Connecticut is looking for a Golf Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
Responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, managing inventory, and assisting with retail sales in the golf shop. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries regarding products and services.
• Manage the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash efficiently.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure the shop is well-organized and fully stocked.
• Assist customers with product selection, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experiences and promote special events or promotions.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.

Requirements:
Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential.
Knowledge of golf products is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and inventory management.
A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
