Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Saint Louis, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of Golf with the daily operations of the golf course and pro shop.
• Help plan and execute member tournaments, events, and outings.
• Assist in Player Development Programs.
• Perform starter and marshaling duties as assigned by the Director of Golf.
• Provide golf instruction to members, guests, and junior golfers as needed.
• Promote and sell merchandise in the pro shop, ensuring inventory is well-organized and appealing.
• Foster strong member relationships through exceptional service, including playing with the members when time allows.
• Ensure that all operations align with the high standards of service and professionalism.
• Participate in preparations for the Stifel Charity Classic, contributing to the smooth execution of the event.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.

Requirements:
Enrolled in the PGM Associates Program is preferred.
Demonstrate leadership and professionalism, setting an example for all employees in behavior and work ethic.
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.
Customer-service oriented with a focus on service excellence.
Proficient in written and verbal business communication.
Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiar with other tools such as email, internet, tournament software, and databases.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain standing for extended periods of time.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Compensation:
$17.00 – $20.00 per hour.
