Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Aloha, Oregon is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Work in all areas of the golf operations, with a focus in the golf shop and daily management of players.
• Assist the professional staff in all tournament operations, including club events and outside tournament play.
• Maintain a professional image, upholding the standards of The Reserve at all times.
• Assist in merchandising and special orders with a focus on hard goods sales.
• Assist with junior camps/clinics, adult instruction, with opportunity for unlimited additional income.
• Develop a teaching style and work with fellow teaching professionals to grow the instruction revenue.
• Demonstrate playing ability and personal skillset by playing golf with members when the opportunity presents itself.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional and/or the Director of Golf.

Requirements:
Experience preferred includes:
1+ years of prior experience in golf operations at private and/or public golf courses, in the golf shop.
Strong customer service, with the ability to develop relationships and build loyalty.
PGA involvement – Level One Associate or higher preferred but not required.
Past instruction experience is a plus, including teaching students of all abilities and ages.
Demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude both at work and in their personal life.
Maintains a competent playing ability and understanding of golf operations and the rules of golf.
Demonstrated history of excellent customer and staff interaction at prior positions. A team player.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
