Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Salisbury, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The position, reporting to the Course Superintendent, will play a key role in all aspects of course management. Responsibilities include daily scheduling and crew management, irrigation maintenance and repair, fertility and plant protectant applications and record-keeping. The ideal applicant is self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player who can think ahead to anticipate and solve challenges.

Requirements:
Education: 2 or 4 year degree in a turf management, agronomy, or related field.
Licensing: North Carolina pesticide license, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Schedule flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather.
Experience: Prior irrigation experience at a golf club is preferred.
Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Team development: Capability to work with, train, and develop crew members effectively.

Compensation:
$40,000 – $50,000 per year.
Golf privileges.
