Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Wilmington, Delaware is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The perk of being the golf course assistant superintendent at the golf course is the diversity of styles amongst all the courses on the property. In other words, you will gain an understanding of how to manage the many different turfgrass varieties and growing mediums on the property, as compared to other clubs and golfing facilities throughout the region. This is an exciting time to become a part of our team and the qualified candidates will possess:
• A passion for the profession of greenskeeping and an understanding of the game of golf.
• A willingness to learn and contribute to our team in a positive way.
• The ability to communicate clearly and get along with a large and diverse crew.
• A valid driver’s license along with the ability and motivation to acquire a Delaware Pesticide Applicator license within 90 days of employment.

Requirements:
Associate or bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Turf Management (or related field, like agronomy, horticulture, plant science, soil science) is preferred.
Previous assistant 1st or 2nd Assistant experience is preferred.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $65,000 per year.
