Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to facilitate the operation and present the golf course as it was intended to be played and in a tournament-ready manner. Manage, delegate, train, direct, and support the team to maintain the golf course at the highest quality possible at all times. Duties will entail:
• Chemical/fertilizer applications and accurate record keeping.
• Irrigation maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming.
• Assist the Golf Course Superintendent with labor tracking and labor efficiency.
• Aid in the hiring process and staff development mentorship.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 2-4 year degree in Turfgrass Science or related field.
The qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of golf course experience including management of staff and chemical and fertilizer applications.
More importantly they must carry themselves in a professional and positive manner at all times and demonstrate a sense of pride and embrace a team-oriented culture.
Must have an Ohio Pesticide License or the ability to obtain one immediately

Compensation:
$55,000 – $60,000 per year.
Room for increased compensation first year based on performance.
