Outside Golf Operations Manager
Resort in Boca Raton, Florida is looking for an Outside Golf Operations Manager.

Position Overview:
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
• Collaborates with Director of Golf and executes action plans.
• Provides a welcoming, responsive and service-oriented environment for members and guests throughout all interactions.
• 80% of time spent on the floor while managing and directing staff.
• Assists with inventory management; conducts monthly inventories, spot-checks and prepares orders and returns.
• Conducts basic Golf Shop merchandising maintenance and implements basic sales techniques for associates, ensuring the highest satisfaction for members and guests.
• Staff management, including scheduling, training and culture enhancement.
• Golf event planning, execution and management.
• Lead Golf Shop training/re-training for all incoming and existing associates.
• Attend sponsored workshops and training opportunities.
• Monitors both Golf clubhouse member locker rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensures all standards are adhered to.
• Manages Golf Shop email and ensures professional communication standards by all associates.
• Manage daily Golf Operation in Head Professional’s absence.
• Clear and consistent communications with all the departments.
• Tee Sheet management, including the implementation of yield management strategies.
• Ensures Golf Shop daily opening and/or closing procedures are completed as designated. Compiles and reviews daily work for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitors and regulates pace of play, including regular communication with Starters and Player Assistants.

Requirements:
Class A PGA Professional or completed PGA Level 1.
Working knowledge of Software Systems; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Reservation Systems, Point of Sales Systems, and others.
Basic English language writing skills necessary for management of Golf Shop email account.
Experience with basic Golf Shop merchandising.
Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with members and guests.
Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures.
Ability to stand/bend for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., and to lift lighter objects overhead.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager or supervisor.
