Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Brewster, Washington is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional in all areas including, but not limited to: the management of daily golf operations, including managing the tracking play, control of the tee sheet, protecting and controlling club assets, assisting with all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, teaching lessons and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience to our members and guests.

Depending on your experience, you can expect to work in the following areas:
• Outside Operations – Outside Services, Starter, and Marshalling.
• Golf Operations- Assisting the Professional Staff in managing the day-to-day operations of three courses.
• Tee Time Management- Gain valuable experience managing an extensive tee time program for 50 holes of golf.
• Retail Operations- Work closely with the Head Professional to order, receive, manage, and display our retail items.
• Teaching- Assist PGA Professional staff in conducting Summer Junior Camps and Individual Private lessons.
• Tournament Operations- Work closely with PGA Professional staff conducting over 100 Resort buddy groups/tournaments—the opportunity to learn and use Golf Genius Tournament Systems.

Requirements:
Actively pursuing PGA membership through a PGM University program.
Previous golf club experience preferred.
Ability to exhibit guest service skills at a high level.
Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects while meeting critical deadlines.
Basic computer skills; comfortable creating documents in Excel, Word, and Publisher.
Strong playing ability is a plus.
Enjoys games with members and competitions.
Career aspirations to be a Head Golf Professional, Golf Shop Manager, or Director of Golf.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
