Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in South Hamilton, Massachusetts is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
A unique opportunity for applicants to develop a vital skill set for their turf industry career. Interns will work closely with our management team, gaining proficiency in daily course preparation, agronomic practices, irrigation repair and maintenance, chemical/fertilizer calibration and application, record keeping, and water management. The club is preparing a Gil Hanse master plan and a complete master plan for a new maintenance facility.

Responsibilities include:
• Training on spraying fairways and greens.
• Water management/Hand watering.
• Fertilizer applications/calibrations.
• Managing small crews.
• Aerification.
• Small projects.
• Course set-up.
• Walk mow greens.
• Walk mow tees and collar.

Requirements:
Enrolled in a Turf Management program or closely related field.
Knowledge of the game of golf.
We are ready to train anyone looking to expand their knowledge of the turf industry.
Positive Attitude and the ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
$20 per hour.
