Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in O’Fallon, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Reports directly to the head golf professional and is responsible for assisting in day-to-day golf operations. The candidate must display excellent customer service skills. The shop assistant could deal with up to 200 customers per day and it is essential to treat them all respectfully and make their experience as enjoyable as possible. Hours will include a variety of mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Duties include but not limited to the following:
• Operating the point-of-sale system daily (checking in golfers and making sales).
• Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Assistant with merchandise sales and displays.
• Answering the phone and booking reservations.
• Execution of evening leagues.
• Assisting in the management of the outside staff.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the pro shop.

Requirements:
Prior golf-related work experience is ideal.
General knowledge of the game of golf.
Excellent communication skills required.
Interest in pursuing a career in golf.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks.
Positive interpersonal skills are required; this is a team environment.
Must be able to perform tasks outdoors in extreme conditions.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have advanced computer skills.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $21.00 per hour.
