Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Gum Springs, Virginia is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The person(s) chosen will gain experience in grading (laser and GPS), drainage design & installation, sod & sprig grow-ins, mowing, and cultural practices. The person(s) chosen will also gain experience in operating various types of equipment such as skid-steers, tractors with implements, ABI Force/FieldPro, and grading lasers.

Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Turfgrass Management or a related field.
Ability to carry/lift/push 50-75 lbs over an 8-hour shift.
Ability to frequently walk, bend, kneel, lift, reach, and climb.
Ability to adapt to various weather conditions
Have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
Experience preferred, but not required in operating skid steers and tractors with implements/attachments.

Compensation:
$15 – $17 per hour.
