Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Monroe, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional/Director of Golf with managing all aspects of golf operations including day-to-day play and tournaments.

Duties:
• Assists in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing. Coordinates with Accounting Departments all policy and procedure revisions, updates, and implementation.
• Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and receives payments from members and guests.
• Follows directives and completes assignments with a minimum of supervision.
• Promotes all club golf activities.
• Assists in the creation of lesson plans and provides both individual and group instruction.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop. Assists retail buyers with procurement and merchandise and shop assistants with merchandising and sales.
• Develop and follow opening and closing procedures.
• Assists with associate training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Applicant must be willing to work most weekends and holidays.

Requirements:
High School Diploma
Established playing ability preferred.
Experience in playing and competing in Golf Tournaments at the High School or Collegiate level preferred.
Prior experience in golf operations preferred but not required.
Knowledge of golfing rules and regulations.
Knowledge and
understanding of typical golf course procedures.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Golf Genius tournament software.
Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.

Compensation:
$36,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
