Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Belton, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Be involved in daily course management and will work closely with the Superintendent and other Assistants. The ability to lead as well as the desire to learn is necessary for consideration in this position.

Essential Functions:
• Manage all operations involved in providing maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, landscapes, bunkers, bodies of water, equipment and maintenance facility.
• Training and supervising the maintenance team to ensure safety and quality of work
• Leading and motivating the maintenance team to achieve set goals
• Supervising all chemical applications on the grounds in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations
• Collaborate with fellow leaders to prepare daily and weekly schedules and strategies.

Requirements:
Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management
Ability to adapt and perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with daily activities
Strong leadership and motivational skills to direct team activities
Possess the ability to effectively interact with executive leadership, associates and members.
Self-motivated to challenge yourself for success.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Turf Management, Horticulture or other related field preferred.
