Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Country Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
The position will play a key role in the management team. We are looking for someone that is passionate about the golf course maintenance industry. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, reliable, eager to learn, excited to lead and motivate staff, and help cultivate a work atmosphere that is positive. The position will perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment; perform spray and granular chemical applications on greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; and occasionally perform work involving large equipment.

Requirements:
2 Year Degree in Turf Management, Certificate or enrolled in Turfgrass Management or Higher.
Experienced preferred, but willing to work with someone who is willing to learn about the industry and to take the next step in their turfgrass career.
Uptain Spray License within 90 days of hire.
Preferably be able to speak Spanish Or willing to learn.

Compensation:
$22 – $25 per hour.
