Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Club in Belleair, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
This position will provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with many aspects of turf management, including irrigation, chemical and fertilizer applications along with the many other cultural practices required to become an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. The position will report directly to the Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent and Director of Agronomy whilst providing support in planning the strategies in both long- and short-term agronomic plans for both in season and during the summer maintenance closures. They will assist and oversee the day-to-day running of the crew whilst providing an extra set of eyes out on the golf course and oversee completion of work assignments by crew.

Typical Daily tasks:
• Pesticide and fertilizer application and calibration.
• Water Management of greens, tees and fairways including hand watering and syringing.
• Irrigation troubleshooting.
• Mowing out all surfaces.
• Course setup including cutting cups.

Requirements:
Previous work on a golf course is preferred but not necessarily in a management or supervisory position.

Compensation:
$20 – $24 per hour.
Health, vision insurance available.
Paid Time Off and Personal time.
