Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Tarpon Springs, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Golf Club is seeking a motivated, professional, and service-oriented individual to join our golf operations team as an Assistant Golf Professional.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the golf industry, enjoy building relationships with members and guests, and bring a positive, team-first attitude to the workplace. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is enrolled—or prepared to enroll—in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program and wants to continue developing a career as a PGA of America Golf Professional.

The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf operations team to provide an exceptional member and guest experience while assisting with golf shop operations, tournaments, instruction, merchandising, practice facilities, and daily play.

Requirements
• Previous experience in golf operations, customer service, retail, tournament administration, or a private club environment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Working knowledge of the Rules of Golf, tournament operations, golf handicapping, and golf shop procedures.
• Ability to provide golf instruction or a strong desire to develop as an instructor.
• Basic golf club repair knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Professional appearance, dependable work habits, and a positive attitude.
• Must be enrolled in, or willing to enroll in, the PGA Professional Golf Management Program.
• Must actively pursue the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification with the PGA of America.

Compensation
$16.00 – $19.00 per hour.
