Pro Shop Attendant
Golf Club in Hallandale Beach, Florida is looking for a Pro Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Offers superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management in merchandising, inventory control, reservations, and special events preparation.

Essential Responsibilities
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management.
• Maintain accountability for POS transactions.
• Collect applicable fees from members, guests, and outside patrons upon arrival.
• Make court, clinic, lesson, and special event reservations in person or by phone.
• Assist guests by selling merchandise and providing information professionally.
• Assist with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly.
• Assist with general cleaning of the shop or store.
• Assist the shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.
• Assist with monthly physical inventories.
• May work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties.
• Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Computer proficiency including Jonas POS, Microsoft Office applications, social media, and tennis-related programs such as tennisdirector.com.
• Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
