2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Osterville, Massachusetts is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and 3 other Assistants in all aspects of the job to provide a better understanding of golf course practices, communication, time management, leadership and teamwork. The goal of this position is to develop a steward of sustainable golf course management and provide the candidate with the foundational skills, network and philosophies to succeed as a world class superintendent.
Requirements
• A Certificate or 2-4 year degree in Turfgrass Management.
• Must have prior pesticide applicator experience.
• Massachusetts Applicator License or the ability to obtain within 6 months (club supported).
Compensation
$60,000 per year.
