1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Litchfield Park, Arizona is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• The position will primarily focus on tournament planning, pre-tournament contracts, post-tournament billing, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, announcements (public speaking), and follow-up.
• Assist the Head Professional and Director of Golf in all aspects of the golf operation.
• Manage play of up to 700 rounds daily and provide unparalleled customer service to club members, resort guests, and the public.
• Mentor the development of staff in all areas.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
• Oversee staffing levels for multiple departments and conduct interviews/hiring accordingly.
• Incorporate safe work practices.

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Professional at a similar statured club, preferably but not mandatory.
Proficient in GolfGenius Software and Tournament Management.
Exceptional knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, handicapping, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.
Ability to work weekends and holidays, mornings, and evenings as business demands.
Frequently lifts items up to 50 pounds. Occasionally works in wet and/or humid conditions for an extended period.
Ability to multitask while remaining focused on the key objectives of the position.

Compensation:
$40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
