Golf Coach
School in Lakeville, Minnesota is looking for a Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the athletic program to which s/he
is assigned, adhering to all local, state and federal laws, policies and directions of the Governing Board of the District, including the rules, regulations and standards of the California Interscholastic Federation. Receives supervision from the Principal or designee and works with the Athletic Director to provide an athletic program which promotes the physical, mental, moral, and emotional well-being of the
individual athletes.

Duties:
• Supervises and develops the athletic program in the assigned sport.
• Assigns and monitors volunteers in the program.
• Develops schedules for tryouts and practices for all levels of the assigned program; coordinates transportation and use of facilities if requested by the athletic director.
• Communicates with the athletic director regarding needed equipment, supplies, uniforms, and student issues.
• Ensures the safety of students participating in the program; reports injuries and unsafe conditions to the athletic director.
• Maintains positive relationships with site staff, parents, media agencies, and community groups to facilitate long-term success and support for the program.
• Acts as liaison between the athletic director and volunteer coaches/assistants.
• Performs reasonable additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Must meet the requirements of California Title 5, Temporary Athletic Team Coach Qualifications and Competencies, which include possession of a valid first aid card and a valid CPR card.
Coaching experience at the middle school level is preferred.

Compensation:
$1800 per season.
