Assistant Women’s Golf Coach
University in Louisville, Kentucky is looking for an Assistant Women’s Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the overall coordination and execution of the University’s NCAA Division I Women’s Golf program, including identifying and recruiting qualified student-athletes, practice and game preparation, coaching, and promoting an atmosphere of compliance within the program. The position reports directly to the Head Women’s Golf Coach.

Duties:
• Coaching: Develop skills of student-athletes, assist in preparing practice plans, and implementing practice plans.
• Organize, prepare, and conduct individual and team practice sessions to prepare for competition and instruct student-athletes in techniques of the sport.
• Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes.
• Analyze scouting reports on all opponents.
• Promote an atmosphere of compliance within the program through strict adherence to NCAA, ACC, and university rules and regulations through monitoring of program activities, active involvement, and commitment to continuous rules education, timely submission of compliance-related documents, and immediate reporting of any knowledge of potential rules violations involving self or others.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration or a related field and one (1) year of related experience coaching, teaching, and/or playing the sport at a collegiate level.
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Ability to work a non-standard work week, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel.

Preferred:
Previous experience playing the sport at a Division I collegiate level.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulation.
