Head Boys Golf Coach
School in Harvard, Illinois is looking for a Head Boys Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Responsible for coaching and providing direction to student-athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Follow district policies and procedures.
2. Organize meetings for prospective club members and encourage participation.
3. Assess athletes’ strengths and weaknesses to tailor coaching.
4. Create and implement workout schedules for individual and team development.
5. Coordinate facility scheduling with the athletic director.
6. Instruct players on rules, equipment, and techniques to improve performance.
7. Develop strategies based on team capabilities.
8. Enforce conduct standards and supervise athletes at all times.
9. Track academic performance to ensure eligibility.
10. Encourage high academic standards among athletes.
11. Implement procedures for handling injuries.
12. Maintain open communication with parents/guardians.
13. Comply with athletic program regulations at all levels.
14. Model sportsmanship and appropriate behavior for athletes.
15. Represent the club by engaging with media and community organizations.
16. Oversee the care and maintenance of equipment.
17. Maintain records, including eligibility forms and equipment inventory.
18. Attend professional development sessions to enhance coaching skills.

Requirements:
ISBE teaching certificate or ASEP certification.
IHSA concussion and PED test completed.
CPR/AED certified.
Valid driver’s license.
Must have excellent planning and organization skills.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Must have strong verbal communication skills.
Must model a desire and willingness to learn continually.

Compensation:
$3,298.18 per season.
