Head Boys Golf Coach
School in Olathe, Kansas is looking for a Head Boys Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Model district guiding principles of Children First, Respect for All, Teamwork, Excellence in Quality, and Commitment to Individual Needs.
• Fulfill roles and responsibilities as directed by the school’s administration and head coach, including adherence to district guidelines for fundraising, trips, money management, contracts, credit card use, and transportation.
• Conduct a pre-season meeting with parents to communicate expectations, sportsmanship guidelines, practice and game schedules, transportation rules, insurance details, injury handling (including concussions), and substance abuse policies. Provide this information to all participants and school administration.
• Teach and coach in a positive and constructive manner.
• Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to district coaching principles.
• Promote good sportsmanship within the team environment.
• Ensure compliance with USD #233 Board policies, including enforcing the Student Code of Conduct.
• Educate team members on the dangers of hazing and strictly prevent any initiation activities.
• Monitor the safety of equipment, playing surfaces, and performance environments.
• Implement coaching duties, including detailed practice plans, supervision of athletes, instruction for high-risk activities, adherence to weather guidelines, and injury assessments.
• Comply with KSHSAA and USD #233 regulations, including participant eligibility, required physicals, and substance abuse policies.

Requirements:
Prefer licensed teacher but not required.
