Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Plan, promote, and assist with all golf activities.
• Deliver the highest level of service to our members and guests.
• Operate the Golf Shop and overall Golf Operation in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist members and guests by providing and interpreting policies, rules, and regulations.
• Assist Head Professional with tournament operations, outside events, merchandising, instruction, on-course activities, carts, and personnel management.
• Learn and operate Golf Genius software.
• Assist Head Professional with golf shop inventory controls.
• Assist members and guests with information on the latest equipment and retail merchandise; actively engage in selling with helpful suggestions.
• Record daily sales on the Point of Sale register.
• Maintain an attractive and orderly Golf Shop.
• Assist in conducting the Junior Golf Program and PGA Junior League.
• Supervise and train Golf Shop and Outside Services employees.
• Provide instruction to members (individual lessons, group lessons, and clinics).
• Maintain handicap records with WSGA.
• Record all daily play on the tee sheet (Golf365 Premier).
• Provide club fitting and repair services to members and guests.
• Act as a starter during peak play periods.
• Monitor golf course pace of play.
• Undertake special projects as assigned by the Head Professional.
• Play golf with members, guests, and employees.

Requirements:
Prior experience in the golf course or club industry is preferred.
Completed or enrolled in an accredited hospitality or PGM program.
Previous golf management software and operating a POS system preferred.

Compensation:
$14.00 – $16.00 per hour.
