Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide exemplary service to both members and guests of Lookout Mountain. Have a service-minded attitude.
• Serve as an ambassador of the club by tirelessly promoting, serving, and representing the club and understanding the importance of both the golf operation and the club as a whole.
• Maintain an active role in merchandising and tournament operations.
• Assist in the training, supervision, and mentoring of the Assistant Professionals, as well as the Golf Shop personnel.
• Assist the Head Professional in the implementation of all golf operation policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high-level playing ability, playing not only with the membership but also in Tennessee Section events.
• Supervise and manage the total golf operation in an effective and efficient manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist in the implementation and management of ladies’ and junior golf programs.

Requirements:
• Class A PGA member in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ work experience as a Class A Professional at a high-end private or resort facility.
• The ability to confidently club fit and teach members of the golf course.
• Competitive collegiate and/or tournament playing record preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel, Golf Genius, ForeTees, POS systems, as well as V1 or other teaching systems.
• Strong work ethic and detail-oriented.
• Present a professional image and appearance at all times.
• Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally, with aspirations to become a Head Professional.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
