Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Bethesda, Maryland is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns will be involved in the daily maintenance of two golf courses, Blue and Gold, and will work closely with the Superintendents and Assistants. Interns will learn fertilizer/pesticide calibration as well as proper application practices. Daily jobs will include but not limited to course setup, irrigation repair, disease identification, and water management on USGA and pushup greens. Interns will also be exposed to the equipment maintenance and clubhouse horticulture/grounds side of the operation.

Requirements:
Enrolled or interested in enrolling in an accredited 2 or 4-year college turf program.
Some experience to no experience required.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to use logical or scientific thinking to solve problems.
Ability to work independently to carry out written and verbal instructions.
Ability to visually inspect golf course conditions and clubhouse grounds.
Good organizational and prioritization skills.

Compensation:
$18 per hour.
