Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Diamondhead, Mississippi is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assists in coordinating and teaching the junior golf program including, but not limited to, the PGA Junior League; the Summer Junior Camp Program and year round programs to continuously enhance the clubs overall junior program.
2. Must be knowledgeable in the Golf Genius Tournament Program and responsible for assisting in the facilitation of all tournament operations.
3. Leads and manages the Outside Golf Operation to include the cart attendants, starters, and marshals.
4. Oversees and assists in the general cleanliness and neatness of the golf shop.
5. Assists in the general merchandising of the golf shop, including: purchasing, receiving, pricing, inventory, selling, special orders, and display.
6. Plans and schedules golf clinics.
7. Oversees the handicap operation.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Should have some college and be enrolled or the desire to enroll in the PGA PGM program.
Should have some teaching experience and knowledge of the golf swing.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 – $32,000.00 per year.
