Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Grounds, this hands-on role involves overseeing and participating in the maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, roughs, waterways, and cart paths. The position also manages equipment and provides leadership in the Director’s absence. The start date for this position is flexible to accommodate the right candidate.

Duties:
• Plan and supervise maintenance activities, including scheduling and equipment management.
• Provide guidance on operation and maintenance procedures to equipment operators.
• Manage personnel and adjust schedules based on assessment.
• Oversee clubhouse maintenance and assist in planning future projects.
• Execute spraying programs to control pests and weeds, ensuring the health and vitality of the course.
• Monitor soil moisture levels and make irrigation adjustments as needed to optimize turf health and water efficiency.
• Perform irrigation repair and small landscaping projects to maintain course aesthetics and functionality.

Requirements:
Proficiency in golf course maintenance practices.
Skilled in scheduling and supervising tasks efficiently.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain pesticide applicator certification.
Commitment to fostering positive working relationships.
Flexibility to work varied hours and lift up to 75 lbs.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $75,000 per year.
