Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in St Joseph, Missouri is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Hands-on management position working with the Keeper of the Greens in all aspects of the operation. The position will assign, participate, supervise, and follow up on the daily maintenance of the golf course, practice facility, and clubhouse landscapes. He/she will develop knowledge and skills in staffing, renovation, irrigation, budgeting etc. while becoming a well-prepared leader to take the next step in their career.

Requirements:
Preferred is either a two or four-year degree/certificate in a turf-related field.
Previous work experience as an Assistant Golf Course or Head Superintendent is preferred.
Ability to perform any task needed to meet course standards.
Highly motivated with strong work ethic and a positive can-do spirit.
Attention to detail, ability to lead, identify and assign or complete tasks.
Good oral and written communication skills with members and staff.
Must be able to multitask while adapting and changing to weather, staffing or seasonal needs.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $70,000 per year. 10 days PTO, 5 sick days, 2 personal days, 8 holidays, and health insurance including dental, vision and disability.
$50 month phone allowance.
GCSAA/HAGCSA dues and local education opportunities.
Uniforms and daily lunch are provided.
Golfing privileges.
