Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Aspen, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Pesticide Application: Proper application of pesticides using GPS-enabled sprayers.
• Inventory Management: Oversee pesticide ordering and inventory.
• Irrigation: Manage and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
• Moisture Management: Oversee moisture management specifically for T1 bentgrass greens and tees, and Kentucky bluegrass fairways, ensuring optimal turf health.
• Staff Management: Assist the Superintendent in leading and managing a multicultural staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:
Minimum of two years of golf course maintenance experience or currently enrolled in a Turfgrass Management program.
Education: A two-year or four-year degree in Turfgrass Management is preferred but not mandatory. We will assist with education, including online schooling options, to help you advance in your career.
Career-driven: Passionate about golf course management with a strong desire to advance in the industry.
Licensing: Ability to obtain a Colorado pesticide license within 90 days.
Self-motivated: Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of educating others.
Work Ethic: Willingness to work long hours and versatility in all aspects of course maintenance.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in approach, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
Positive Attitude: Maintains a positive and constructive attitude in the workplace.
Language Skills: Spanish speaking is a plus.

Compensation:
$75,000 – $85,000 per year.
