Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Billings, Montana is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
An integral part in providing proactive service and working to create a memorable golf experience for the members and their guests. Teaching, playing, merchandising, hospitality and golf business acumen are all skills that will be grown in this role.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Staff Performance – schedule, supervise, train & lead team members on a shift by shift basis.
• Bag Drop – Cause members and guests to be greeted and assisted at the start and conclusion of their visit.
• Cart Fleet & Staging – Cause 65 carts to be cleaned, detailed, charged and staged for play on a daily basis, assisting members with golf bags, club cleaning and other service before and after play.
• Practice Areas – Cause the range tee and short game areas to be stocked and organized throughout the day. Maintaining proper supply of range balls and accesories.
• Bag Room – Cause Members golf bags to be cleaned and stored, coordinate lost & found.
• Cleanliness & Organization – Maintaining all work areas and work stations to be ready for use and tidy in appearance.
• Spoken Communication – Effectively talk to staff to provide continual supervision and feedback. Proactively interact with Members to isnure they are acknowledged and any special needs identified.
• Maintaining Equipment & Supplies – Inventory & Order key items for daily operations and ensure key pieces of operating equipment are in working order.
• Event Preparations – Coordinating with other department managers to prepare and execute large outings and events for members.
• Working & Planning Ahead – utilzing calendars, schedules, checklists etc to stay prepared for the next shift and the next event.

Requirements:
High degree of professionalism and commitment to excellence and high standards.
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize workload, managing multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision.
Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work a combination of weekends and weekdays
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
Ability to be a self-starter whereby little supervision is required to accomplish tasks.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
Ability to integrate quickly with a team to accomplish operational goals.

Compensation:
$16.00 – $18.00 per hour.
