Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Main roles include tournament operations, merchandising, teaching, and running a high experience daily golf operation. Position is full time seasonal with winter job placement or full time year round depending upon candidate and experience. Start dates are flexible.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Organize and conduct tournaments for men, women, couples, and juniors.
• Instruct private lessons, group clinics, junior golf, and clubfittings using Trackman.
• Spread hospitality and goodwill among all members, guests and fellow staff.
• Provide a consistently high level of customer service to the membership and guests.
• Instruct private lessons, group clinics, junior golf, and clubfittings using Trackman.
• Help organize and run the Junior Golf Program
• Understand and enforce club rules and regulations and the golf operations policies.
• Assist with all roles of the golf department as needed (Starter, Ranger, Outside Operations).
• Be a team player who is enthusiastic with open communication and respect for themselves, the staff, members/guests and the club
• Assist in training and management of staff members and outside operations.
• Manage golf shop merchandising, inventory, organization, displays, and orders.
• Serve as a leader and role model for all staff members.
• Communication with all areas of the golf operation and club departments.
• Promote and grow the game, programs, sales, and the experience.
• Opening, closing, and carrying out normal operations and procedures throughout the day.
• Experience with Club Essential, Foretees, Golf Genius, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office.
• Encouraged to play and practice with members when available.
• Establish professional and personal goals and work with Head Professional to achieve goals.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and enrolled in PGA program preferred, but not required.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
