2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Peoria, Illinois is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Works closely with the golf course superintendent and first assistant in the operation and maintenance of the golf course and club grounds. The position helps with the daily tasks, and supervises/ trains employees. The position must demonstrate the ability to maintain the golf course at a high level with a high attention to detail.

Tasks:
• Daily maintenance of the golf course and grounds.
• Apply fertilizers and chemicals to maintain turf health.
• Irrigation repair to ensure proper water distribution.
• Disease scouting for early detection of turf issues.
• Winter duties related to course upkeep and seasonal adjustments.
• Supervise and train employees to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement plans for long-term improvements to the course and grounds.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of golf course maintenance experience.
Currently have or obtain a pesticide or operators license within 30 days of employment.

Compensation:
$17 – $20 per hour.
