Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Seattle, Washington is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities of the Assistant Superintendent will include assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure the course meets the highest standards, managing staff, and working jointly with the Superintendent, other Assistant, and Equipment Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the maintenance crew’s day-to-day work on the course and track completion of tasks.
• Closely monitor moisture levels of all playing surfaces, and program irrigation.
• Communicate course conditions with the superintendent and pro staff.
• Identify and resolve issues on the golf course.

Requirements:
A strong work ethic, passion for our industry and a great attitude.
2-year certificate or 4-year degree in turf or related field preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Basic understanding of irrigation troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to operate a spray rig.
Availability to work some weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
Understanding of the game of golf.
Capable of obtaining a Washington pesticide applicators license.

Compensation:
$70,000 – $76,000 per year.
