Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Mitchellville, Maryland is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities to include and are not limited to running the day-to-day operation of a private country club.
• Strong tournament operation skills and need to be familiar with Golf Genius, GHIN, and basic POS systems.
• Applicant should have merchandising and teaching fundamentals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new programming to engage members and guests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
PGA certification or active participation in the PGA program.
Must have a solid golf background with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a private, resort or public club.
Tournament Ops and instructional experience a high priority
Currently enrolled in level 1 at a minimum.
A college degree is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, personable and enthusiastic and can effectively work as a team member and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Publisher, and Golf Genius Tournament Software; knowledge of NorthStar POS and online tee time reservation system is strongly preferred.

Compensation:
$42,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
