1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Granbury, Texas is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Serves as a senior staff member overseeing golf and tournament operations, and plays an integral role in ensuring members and guests enjoy memorable experiences every time they visit the club.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Oversees daily golf activity including tee sheet setup, golf shop staff performance, cart fleet setup & operation, practice facility setup & operation, and pace of play & player behavior on the course.
• Manages all tournament setup and play for highly active MGA, LGA, Couples Golf, Member Golf and Outside Outing programs.
• Serves as facility Manager-On-Duty in the absence of the General Manager.
• Provides individual and group golf instruction for members and guests.
• Provides club repair (regrip and reshaft) services.
• Provides club fitting services.
• Actively mentors the golf operations staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Maintains a credible golf game and plays the course regularly with a variety of membership groups.
• Maintains a clean & professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing & professional attitude at all times.
• Represents via active participation in NTPGA and PGA networking, educational, volunteer and tournament events.

Requirements:
PGA Member Preferred (PGA Level II Apprentice or Higher Required).
5+ Years Experience in Private Club Operations.
Tournament Management Experience (w/Golf Genius Expertise).
Merchandising Experience.
Teaching Experience (Both Private & Group Instruction).
Club Repair & Club Fitting Experience.
Staff & Facility Management Experience (Departmental Level).

Compensation:
$55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year.
