Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Belleville, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The individual will report directly to the Head Golf Professional and assist in daily golf operations, tournament operations, and golf instruction. The successful candidate must possess a great attitude and be highly motivated to provide service that exceeds expectations.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist all facets of golf operations of a high-end private club.
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with Pro Shop Merchandising.
• Assist in managing tournament operations and weekly events.
• Assist with Junior Golf Programs.
• Conduct individual lessons and/or clinics.
• Assist management of outside services operation.
• Assist management of golf cart fleet, cart barn, and club storage.
• Provide club repair and club fitting services to members.
• Play and promote golf with Members of all skill levels.

Requirements:
PGA Associate preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional preferred but not required.
Rules of Golf Knowledge.
Experience using GHIN and Golf Genius software programs.
Proficient and enthusiastic instructor with private lesson experience.
Ability to custom-fit golf clubs.
Ability to perform basic club repair tasks.
Be a team player.
Prior experience managing staff members.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and E-mail.

Compensation:
$16.00 – $18.00 per hour.
