Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This candidate should be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the ability to quickly adjust and adapt to a dynamic working environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Report directly and collaborate with the Director of Agronomy, Superintendent, and Assistant in scheduling and supervising all golf course maintenance practices.
• Assist in managing and motivating a diverse staff of 22-25 employees.
• Accurately calibrate and apply fertilizers and pesticides.
• Irrigation troubleshooting/repair.
• Record keeping.
• Maintain course and facilities to club standards.
• Safely and effectively operate sprayers and mix chemicals across greens, tees, and fairways, following precise procedures.
• Manage the irrigation system and its components with skill and care.
• Demonstrate your ability to follow both oral and written directions in a timely fashion.

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in golf course maintenance, preferably in a leadership role.
Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred in Turf Management.
NC Pesticide Applicators License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and be able to perform repetitive motions.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $73,000 per year.
