Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Royal Oak, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional with the following responsibilities:
• Merchandising – inventory control, point of sale management, product displays, sales and special promotional events.
• Tournament Operations – planning, promoting, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, billing and post-tournament follow-up reports.
• Instruction – individual and group. Club has two Trackman’s, a simulator and an indoor teaching/training facility.
• Jr. Golf Program – day to day management of weekly instruction and golf activities, interclub competitions and PGA Junior League.
• Player Development Programs – Get Golf Ready
• Caddie Program – assist Caddie Master with promoting, training, communication and management.
• Club Repair – regrip, reshaft, loft and lie adjustments.
• Club Fitting – perform club fitting with members and guests utilizing Trackman, manufacturer’s fitting carts and equipment from Mitchell Golf.
• Play golf with a variety of members in competitive and non-competitive situations.
• Assist with all opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:
PGA Affiliation: Class A member or Apprentice.
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
PGM Graduate: Preferred not required.

Compensation:
$800.00 – $900.00 per week.
