Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Fort Worth, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
A key member of the golf operations team at the property and assists the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in managing all golf and golf-related activities at the facility.

Duties:
• Assists in all aspects of the general operations of the Golf Club and assumes all duties in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Supports the financial goals of the club including revenue & profit.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a positive and memorable golfing experience.
• Handles and resolves member and guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains professional appearance and set example for all staff.
• Operates the Golf Pro Shop on a daily basis.
• Oversees the day-to-day activities of the golf shop, clubhouse & outside services, and related facilities.
• Ensures shifts, required for successful operations, are filled and finds or provides coverage to maintain continuity.
• Assists the Head Golf Professional in the execution of golf tournaments, events, and leagues;
Including, course set-up, clean-up, pairing, scoring, awards & rules.
• Assists with monthly inventory of the Golf Shop.
• Stays current on all PGA/USGA Rules and regulations to support the golfing public.
• Produces daily reports related to rounds, sales, & operations etc. for management.
• Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
• Embraces O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, and Safety culture.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements:
Exceptional golfing skills and a comprehensive understanding of the game and its rules.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Member-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering outstanding service
Proven ability to manage golf operations efficiently and effectively.
Experienced computer user including; Microsoft Word and Excel.
Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, golf applications.
PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association) membership is preferred. Or equivalent experience as a
Golf Professional, golf industry or similar golf management role.
Experience in golf course retail, inventory management, and merchandising
Proficiency in golf-related software and technology for scheduling and tee time management, and tournament execution.
