Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Washington, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist with all day-to-day activities including but not limited to, tee sheet management, pace of play guidelines, supervising outside cart staff, driving merchandise sales, exceptional customer service, assisting bar staff, and member relations.
• Knowledge of club events and increasing participation.
• Extensive Golf Genius knowledge: setting up events and leagues, printing materials, etc.
• Tournament Operations: Cart staging, Golf Genius set up, staff organization, billing, managing pace of play, event clean up, etc.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and further golf education everyday.
• Schedule, supervise, and train outside cart staff as directed by the head professional.
• Complete all requirements to maintain an active PGA membership.
• Display a sense of professionalism, organization, and proactivity while on duty.
• Have a constant sense of motivation and dependability.
• Assist with all opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in the running of men’s and ladies’ leagues.
• Assist in summer and fall junior golf programs.
• Provide club repair and club fitting services to all members.
• Playing golf with members both on normal days and member event days (as approved by head professional).
• Be an ambassador of the club in all activities while at the club.
• Help keep a maintained, cleaned, and organized environment around the golf shop (merchandise and counter).
• Maintain an effective and positive work presence with all golf staff, club employees, and management.

Requirements:
2 years of experience in the golf industry. PGA Level 1 associate not required but highly encouraged.

Compensation:
$38,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year.
